PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbing material which exhibits high adsorptivity to various elements dissolved in the water and has high strength. SOLUTION: The adsorbing material capable of adsorbing the element dissolved in the water is characterized in that a granular adsorbing agent capable of adsorbing the element is held in a molding main body obtained by cross-linking a hydrophilic polymer by a cross-linking agent and molding the cross-linked polymer.
