PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS system capable of reducing the operation of a customer in settlement processing.SOLUTION: A POS system includes: a registration device to be operated by a clerk for registering merchandise to be purchased by a customer; and a plurality of settlement devices to be operated by the customer himself or herself for performing settlement on the basis of the registration data of the merchandise. The registration device includes: selection means for selecting the settlement device in an empty state from among the plurality of settlement devices, and for setting the selected settlement device as a transmission destination; transmission means for transmitting registration data such that the settlement processing of the customer is performed by the selected settlement device; holding means for holding the settlement processing based on the registration data in the settlement device. The settlement device includes a predetermined lamp for performing notification by blinking or lighting up, and when receiving the registration data transmitted by the transmission means, allows the predetermined lamp to blink or light up.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
