PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear illumination device and manufacturing method of the linear illumination device that can tilt an optical axis in a juxtaposition direction (an X-direction) of an LED light source without reducing an amount of light unnecessarily, and further can arbitrarily set a width of a linear illumination range.SOLUTION: A linear illumination device comprises: a plurality of LED light sources 1 which are arranged so as to line in an X-direction; a plurality of first converging lenses 22a which are respectively arranged so that an optical axis of each LED light source passes, has a curvature in the X-direction, and extends in a Y-direction orthogonal to the X-direction; second converging lens units 40a and 40b that have the curvature in the Y-direction, extend in the X-direction, and converge light converged to the X-direction by each of the first converging lens units to the Y-direction; and a plurality of refractive lens surfaces 50c that tilt in the X-direction so that, when determining a direction orthogonal to the X-direction and Y-direction as a Z-direction, each has an angle of equal to or more than 40° and equal to or less than 80° with respect to a virtual line extending in the Z-direction, and is arranged so as to line in the X-direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
