摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-cylinder engine which is suppressed in a variation of combustion between cylinders which occurs accompanied by an error of a shape of an intake port from a line-off time.SOLUTION: This multi-cylinder engine comprises an intake port having a throttle part for generating a tumble flow in a combustion chamber at a throat, and an in-cylinder injection valve for injecting fuel so as to oppose the tumble flow in the combustion chamber at each cylinder, and is employed to a multi-cylinder engine having a variation between the cylinders in a distance of the throttle part from a lower face of a cylinder head. In the multi-cylinder engine, a value of a control parameter which decides an air-fuel ratio of an air mixture at the surroundings of an ignition plug at ignition in a stratification combustion operation is independently and initially set at each cylinder, and common regularity is arranged between an inter-cylinder distribution of a difference of values of the control parameters of the respective cylinders with respect to a value of a control parameter of a reference cylinder, and an inter-cylinder distribution of a difference of heights of the throttle parts of the cylinders with respect to a distance of a throttle part of the reference cylinder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
