A system for transmitting and receiving image data by using a multi-con and a method therefor are provided to search multi-con data corresponding to a multi-con identifier, synthesize the searched multi-con data to the image data, and display the synthesized data. An encoder(210) encodes image data transmitted to a remote system. A multi-con management module(220) transmits a multi-con identifier selected and inputted from one or more multi-con identifier lists to the remote system, and searches multi-con data corresponding to a multi-con identifier received from the remote system by referring to a certain recording device. A decoder(230) decodes the image data received from the remote system. An image data synthesizing unit(250) synthesizes the searched multi-con data with the image data decoded in the decoder(230). |
