PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and effectively practicing selection of good eggs, particularly a method for simply and accurately detecting existence of a refractile body by carrying out observation of autofluorescence. SOLUTION: The method for detecting the refractile body comprises measuring autofluorescence from the refractile body in the oocyte, particularly measuring fluorescence in 570-610 nm wavelength emitted when excited with 420-480 nm wavelength.
