PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stay device with a stopper mechanism, which can be installed and used even in a small space and cost of which on manufacture and assembly is reduced easily. SOLUTION: The stay device with the stopper mechanism is composed of a mounting plate 4 fixed onto a door 2, a movable tie plate 5, in which a base end section is attached pivotally at the front end section of the mounting plate 4 by a first shaft bar 6 parallel with a hinge shaft 12 and a guide groove 10 is formed towards a front end section from the base end section, a second shaft bar 7 fixed onto a fixed frame body 1 and fitted into the guide groove 10 relatively movably, a third shaft bar 8 fixed at the front end section of the movable tie plate 5 while being brought near to the front end section of the guide groove 10, and a clip spring 9 in which a ring curved section is fitted to the third shaft bar 8 and a pair of corrugated arm sections engaged or disengaged with or from the side face section of the second shaft bar 7 are overhung so as to be superposed on the front end section of the guide groove 10.
