<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite core for flat cable, which downsizes an electronic apparatus and improve its mechanical strength, attachment workability and manufacturing efficiency; and to provide an electronic apparatus using the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The FC core 1 includes a core substrate 10, a flat cable insertion through-hole 11 and a projection 12. The core substrate 10 includes first and second main faces 13 and 14 that are flat and opposite to each other. The flat cable insertion through-hole 11 penetrates the inside of the core substrate 10 in a direction parallel to the first and second main faces 13 and 14. The projection 12 is projected at least on either of the first and second main faces 13 and 14. The FC core 1 is combined with the flat cable 2 to be used for an electronic apparatus.
