In a reciprocating saw (1), a slider (5) that is reciprocated by a motor (M) protrudes forward beyond a housing (2) accommodating the motor (M). A blade (7) that cuts a workpiece can be fixed to a joining portion (6) provided at a tip end of the slider (5). A protector (15) made of an elastic material is attached to the joining portion (6). The protector (15) is provided with a contact portion (16, 17) capable of contacting the blade (7) fixed to the joining portion (6). |
