This display device is for a monitored-person monitoring system that detects each of a plurality of monitored persons and monitors the plurality of monitored persons. The device receives and displays monitoring information related to the monitored persons. When a monitoring information display screen that shows monitoring information related to one monitored person from among the plurality of monitored persons is being displayed, even if monitoring information related to another monitored person that is different from the one monitored person is received, display of the monitoring information display screen that shows the monitoring information related to the one monitored person is continued if a prescribed input operation has been received.
