PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label attaching system capable of attaching a cylindrical label to a predetermined position of a container with high accuracy despite of a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The label attaching system is equipped with a label supplying device 3 which supplies the cylindrical label L, a label attaching device, and a label transferring device 4. The label transferring device 4 is equipped with a pair of label insertion members, which are inserted into the cylindrical label L, open the label out, and transfer it to the label attaching device. The pair of label insertion members can come into contact with or separate from each other, with the cylindrical label sandwiched between a gripping member 43 and them. At a position R3 where the label transferring device 4 receives the cylindrical label L from the label supplying device 3, the center C1 of each of the pair of label insertion members in the widthwise direction 92 of the cylindrical label L is deviated by a predetermined distance in a widthwise direction 92 from the center C2 of the cylindrical label L in the widthwise direction 92.
