PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever position determination device which can precisely determine an operation position of a shift lever even if a majority rule is not established.SOLUTION: When a majority of output signals out of the output signals from a plurality of position sensors 52 corresponds to the same operation position, majority rule determination is performed for determining that an operation position in which the majority of the output signals is the same is an operation position of a shift lever 32, however, when the majority rule determination is not established, it is determined whether the operation position of the shift lever 32 is at an M-operation position side or at an N-side operation position side on the basis of a magnitude relationship of the output signals from the plurality of the position sensors 52, the operation position of the shift lever 32 can be thereby precisely determined, and a traveling range can be properly switched along an intention of a driver.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
