PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress exposure of a carbon fiber by polishing a surface of a carbon fiber composite material.SOLUTION: A structure manufacturing method includes: a molding step of impregnating a carbon fiber with a resin material, curing the resin material, and molding a carbon fiber composite material 10; a polishing step of polishing a polishing region of the surface of the carbon fiber composite material 10 molded by the molding step with a polishing material having a predetermined hardness; and a bonding step of bonding another member to a part of the polishing region polished by the polishing step through an adhesive. The molding step includes forming a polishing layer 10y having a lower hardness than a predetermined hardness on the outermost surface, and forming a surface protective layer 10x having a protective filler 10e, which protects the carbon fiber composite material 10 from the polishing material and has a higher hardness than a predetermined hardness arranged therein, in the inside of the polishing layer 10y.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
