PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out movement between ink ejection targets in a short time when an ejection head moves reversing to a main scan direction. SOLUTION: In the ink ejector, a main scan directional movement time when an ink ejecting means moves between forward ejection targets 2a (2c) is longer than a sub-scan directional movement time, and a main scan directional movement time when the ink ejecting means moves between reverse ejection targets 2b is longer than a sub-scan directional movement time. A sub-scan directional movement time when the ink ejecting means moves to the first reverse ejection target scanned first by the ink ejecting means among a plurality of the reverse ejection targets from the last forward ejection target scanned last by the ink ejecting means among a plurality of the forward ejection targets 2a is longer than a main scan directional movement time. When the ink ejecting means starts the movement from the last forward ejection target to the first reverse ejection target, it starts the movement to a sub-scan direction toward the first reverse ejection target.
