<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that an ink leaks from a pen point and writing becomes impossible caused by dry up when a ball-point pen is stored in a pen stand under a condition where the pen point is projected downward. <P>SOLUTION: In a ball-point pen with an elastic body arranged so as not to be pulled out so that the ball at the tip is always directly or through a movable member pressed, a related equation M<F is satisfied between a ball pressing force F(g) in the pen point and the total weight M(g) of the ball-point pen. Namely, as a ball valve is not opened by the weight of the ball-point pen by making a pressing load to a writing ball larger than the weight of the pen, it becomes possible to prevent the ink from leaking and drying up while it is not used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
