The present invention relates to the technical field of display. Disclosed are a display compensation method, apparatus and display device. The display compensation method applies to a shutter-type 3D display device comprising a display panel and a backlight module, wherein the backlight module comprises a first light source and a second light source, the display panel comprises a plurality of first display areas, the backlight module comprises a plurality of first backlight areas corresponding to the first display areas, and the plurality of first backlight areas of the backlight module are partitioned and sequentially turned on. The method comprises: turning on the first light source for the first backlight area (S01); obtaining brightness information of the backlight module when the first light source is turned on (S02); determining whether the brightness information is in a preset brightness range (S03); if the brightness information is in the preset brightness range, turning on the second light source for the first backlight area (S04) to compensate display brightness for the display panel. The display compensation method can address the problem of a decrease in brightness of a display image of the shutter-type 3D liquid crystal display device when backlight partition scanning is employed. |
