<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use blank space on a screen when the number of mail displayed in a list is small. <P>SOLUTION: A mail list display system for displaying a list of mail sent and received onscreen comprises a mail attribute information holding part 121 for holding attribute information including a sender, a recipient, a receiving date/time, a sending date/time, a title and attachment file existence, a mail display extension rule holding part 122 for holding rules for adding attribute information to information displayed in a list, enlarging character size, changing the number of lines per screen, and changing the number of lines per mail message, a mail attribute acquisition part 131 for reading in the attribute information about mail held, and a display content creation function part 132 for counting the mail according to the attribute information, and if there is a blank in the mail list display, according to the rule information read in, updating the number of lines per screen in response to character size enlargement information, updating the number of lines per mail message in response to attribute information addition, adding the acquired attribute information and enlarging the character size to provide the display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
