PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-soluble solid drawing material having excellent solubility and writing quality, extremely slightly absorbing moisture even in humid condition, hardly causing stickiness and having excellent preservation stability. SOLUTION: This water-soluble solid drawing material contains at least a coloring matter, and a surfactant represented by formula (I) and/or formula (II). For example, a polyethylene glycol (PEG) monostearate (m=30), a PEG monocetylate (m=30), a PEG monobehenoate (m=30), ethylene glycol (EG) monostearate (m=1), a PEG monostearate (m=60), and the like, are cited as the surfactant represented by formulas (I) and/or (II).
