The invention relates to a packaging/lid for protecting drink cans, comprising two elements. The lid is made from a sheet of plastic which is configured to be press-inserted into the upper edge of the drink can. The invention is designed such that the cans can be stored on top of one another, with the brand of drink being printed thereon. The packaging comprises a sheet of plastic which covers the can with the exception of the ends thereof and which is positioned close to the lid. The plastic is opened using an easy-open strip.
