The piezo-actuator has a tube-like housing (4) with two ends and an outer wall (5) that is directed outwards. A piezo-stack (9) is arranged within the tube-like housing, where a cooling body (32) is fastened to the outer wall of the housing. The body is provided with cooling fins and cooling slots. The cooling body is pre-stressed such that a resulting elastic force pushes the cooling body against the outer wall of the housing. The body includes a cooling plate that is formed by cutting from a heat sink.
