PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological identification system capable of personal identification on the basis of user's pulse wave signals detected during a normal activity in a normal life without forcing standstill or a rest state to the user.SOLUTION: A biological identification system 100A comprises: a biological signal detector 1 which detects pulse wave signals as biological signals of a user from a hand of the user brought into contact with the biological signal detector 1 by the user; an evaluator 2 which evaluates whether the pulse wave signals detected by the biological signal detector 1 are usable or not for personal identification; and an identifier 3 which identifies the user on the basis of a pulse wave signal evaluated to be usable for personal identification by the evaluator 2 from among the pulse wave signals detected by the biological signal detector .SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
