PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornament body opening/closing unit capable of exerting characteristic performance effects being speedy on a game progress and having unexpectedness by, for example, opening/closing a fan-shaped ornament body composed of a plurality of parts on the game board face along the board face. SOLUTION: This ornament body opening/closing unit includes a plurality of ornament body pieces openably/closably journaled by a rotary shaft 31 respectively, and associating members 16 and 21 opening in association with the respective ornament pieces; the ornament body 11 at least includes a first ornament body piece 15 integrated with the rotary shaft and opened first when the rotary shaft is turned in the opening direction by an ornament driving mechanism 30, and a second ornament body piece 20 loosely journaled to the rotary shaft and starting the opening operation via the associating members after the opening angle of the first ornament piece reaches a prescribed angle; and when opening, this unit is so controlled that respective outputs of an opening starting initial time and an opening ending time become higher than the output of an intermediate period.
