PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centering device of a die of a punching mechanism capable of easily and speedily centering a shaft center of the die to be concentric with a shaft center of a punch pin. SOLUTION: A supporting base 44 of the centering device 40 is furnished with; a connecting member 50 free to hold a die holder 22; an XY stage 60 free to integrally connect the connecting member 50 and free to move the connecting member 50 at least in two different directions against the shaft center of the punch pin 12 and; a camera 70 free to observe a relative position of the punch pin 12 and the die 23 by magnifying it on itself, and it is devised to move the die holder 22 through the connecting member 50 by the XY stage 60 in accordance with photographed picture images of the punch pin 12 and the die 23 by the camera 70.
