Provided are an illumination device and a display device which can be wired readily. A connector 331 and light sources 34, 34,... are mounted on one side of a light source base board 33. Since an electric supply member 4 comprises a flexible printed circuit board, and a light source connection portion 44 provided on the electric supply member 4 is electrically connected to the connector 331, electricity is supplied from a power source unit to the light source base board 33. That is to say, using the flexible printed circuit board allows wiring to be facilitated between the power source unit and the light source base board 33. Consequently, wiring is simpler compared to when a plurality of electric supply lines are to be electrically connected to the light source base board 33. |
