PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which is easily restored from operational faults of a system. SOLUTION: The image processor comprises: a main CPU for activating a system using a system program stored in a storage medium; and a sub CPU for monitoring an operational state of the main CPU and automatically restoring the system of the main CPU if activation of the system of the main CPU becomes unavailable due to some trouble.
