Gas turbine with compressor and combustion chamber
摘要
The turbine has an additional turbine stage where hot waste air and cooling air are compressed and re-used after adding fuel. Amongst other components the turbine has vanes (3) to compress the air intake so as to reach the combustion chamber as injected with fuel via jets (4) for ignition by sparkplugs (8) and thus explosive expansion. The turbine wheel (1) turns to close it off at ignition so the expanding gas presses on the inclined walls of the grooves and so rotates the wheel. The combusted mix departs via closure (5) and power tapped at coupling (6). The walls are assisted by co-rotating partitions (9) and the air input from this first stage is used for preheating in a second combustion chamber in the bottom part of the turbine.
