<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption in consideration of responsiveness to a traveling request to some extents when a fuel consumption priority traveling mode is set in which fuel consumption is given priority while responsiveness to a traveling request is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: When an eco-friendly travel mode is set, a rate limit value when changing an accelerator aperture for control to be used for request torque requested for traveling is set to the same rate limit value R1 as that in a normal traveling mode when the accelerator aperture (previous Acct) for control is less than an aperture A1, and the rate limit value is set to a value smaller than the rate limit value R1 when the previous Acct is equal to or more than the aperture A1. Thus, when the accelerator aperture for control is less than the aperture A1, it is possible to quickly increase the accelerator aperture for control, and when the accelerator aperture for control is equal to or more than the aperture A1, it is possible to smoothly increase the accelerator aperture for control according to the rapid change of the accelerator aperture.
