<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored composition having a minimum protrusion at an overlap portion on a black matrix, which is formed during the production of a color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The colored composition includes a photopolymerization initiator, an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, a resin, a coloring material and a solvent, wherein the proportion of nonvolatile portions to the entire colored composition is 10-15 wt.%. When films having a thickness of 3.0 and 1.8 μm formed by applying the colored composition on a substrate, drying it and removing the solvent are exposed to 100 mJ/cm<SP>2</SP>of ultraviolet rays from an ultrahigh-pressure mercury lamp of 20 mW/cm<SP>2</SP>via a photomask and patterned by alkali development, the films have a thickness t1 and t2 satisfying 0.10≤t1/t2≤0.40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
