Provided is a method for evenly dispersing fibrous materials such as glass wool, and distributing the fibrous materials on an accumulation conveyor belt without using compressed air in the dispersion process. In this method, a material that has been spun into fibers by the spinner of a fiberizer is dispersed by a hollow bucket placed directly underneath the spinner, and accumulated on an accumulation conveyor belt placed below the bucket. The hollow bucket is formed by attaching a nozzle, having elliptical openings at the bottom, to a skirt that is the bottom part of a hopper with a circular cross section, and the interior surface of the nozzle is deformed in the direction of the elliptical openings. In this way, fibrous materials dropped through the hollow bucket are dispersed, by the nozzle, along the width of the accumulation conveyor belt, and accumulated on the conveyor belt.
