PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent having durability (performance equivalent to a conventional metallic stent) over a long period, concerning a stent made of a biodegradable metal material.SOLUTION: Concerning a stent made of a biodegradable metal material, a polymer or a solution containing the polymer and a vessel intimal thickening inhibitor is sprayed to a stent crimped on a balloon part of a balloon catheter to form a coating layer thereon, and thereby a stent having durability (performance equivalent to a conventional metallic stent) over a long period can be provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
