PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an independently activated right/left column type vulcanizer capable of obtaining further enhanced compacting performance of the whole vulcanizer. SOLUTION: In the independently activated right/left column type vulcanizer, two right and left mold opening/closing devices 12A, 12B for liftably supporting the upper part mold mounting members 17a, 17b corresponding to the lower part mold mounting members 13a, 13b installed on a base plate 11 by the pair of right and left columns 18a, 18b vertically provided on the base plate, are disposed so as to be actuated independently. The right and left columns are disposed in a V-shape between the two right and left mold opening/closing devices. While loaders 22a, 22b capable of carrying a green tire into the opening/closing devices are disposed at the column side having a narrow right/left interval disposed in V-shape, the unloader 23a, 23b capable of carrying out the vulcanized tire T from the respective mold opening/closing devices are disposed at the column side having a wide right/left interval.
