<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide a method for forming a green tire which can be employed for preventing the occurrence of blasting by the satisfactory cooling of an unvulcanized rubber ribbon, and a device for cooling a green tire for use in the method. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A method for forming a green tire, which comprises, at least in the process from the start to the finish of the winding of an unvulcanized rubber ribbon (R), blowing a cooled gas continuously to the whole of the region specified by the range in the width direction corresponding to the whole width (W) of the unvulcanized rubber member (5) and a prescribed angle range (theta) in the peripheral direction of the surface of a green tire being rotated on the way of forming, to thereby cool the unvulcanized rubber ribbon (R) having been already wound.</p> |
