<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing the occurrence of image quality defect such as uneven density and fogging. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a counter part 13 for counting the number of image data for every line in a sub scanning direction; a counted value comparison part 14 for comparing the counted value by the counter part 13 with a threshold; and an operation control part 10 that detects a line where the counted value is smaller than the threshold, and forms an electrostatic latent image corresponding to the detected line on the photoreceptor drum 21, and then, forcibly consumes the developer in the developing unit 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
