<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generation device which generates an output image using a space model for preventing disappearance of an object from an image in an area in which the respective imaging ranges of two cameras overlap with each other. <P>SOLUTION: An image generation device 100 includes coordinate associating means 10 for associating coordinates in a space model MD arranged to surround a shovel 60 and coordinates in two input image planes corresponding to respective two cameras 2B and 2R; and output image creating means 11 for creating an output image by associating values of the coordinates in those two input image planes and values of coordinates in an output image plane via coordinates in the space model MD.
