<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable thinning of an optical pickup. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup 20 of this invention emits a light beam 91 of divergent angle large in a vertical direction to a horizontal direction parallel to an optical disk 100 by a laser diode 21, and converts it to a parallel light so that the width of a luminous flux in vertical direction becomes smaller than a diameter of a last luminous flux Df which is a diameter of the light beam 91 entering in an objective lens, and the width of the luminous flux in the horizontal direction of the light beam 91 is extended to the diameter of the last luminous flux Df. The optical pickup 20 extends the vertical direction of the light beam 91 by the rising prism 28 prepared at a front step of the objective lens 29 and makes the light beam 91 concerned bending to be incident on the objective lens 29 in this rising prism 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
