PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of improving the sliding performance of a pan and having superior operability. SOLUTION: In this heating cooker for heating and cooking a cooked object, the pan 66 accommodated in a heating chamber 5 is supported by a pan retainer 64, and taken in and out through rail units 16a, 16b disposed outside the heating chamber 5, and having fixed rails and movable rails.The pan retainer 64 is constituted of an engagement part 76 interlocked with the movable rails, a sliding part 72 sliding with the bottom face of the heating chamber 5, a pan placing part 72 for placing a pan 66, and pan-positioning parts 74, 78 for positioning the pan 66. A door 19 for opening and closing an opening formed at the front face of the heating chamber 5 is attached to the movable rails or to a rail connecting part 18 for connecting the movable rails, and when the door 19 is drawn out of the heating chamber 5, the pan 66 is attachable to and detachable from the pan retainer 64 in a state that the door 19 is attached to the movable rails or the rail connecting part 18.
