摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picking up system and picking up method that can significantly reduce a time period for identification-processing a picking up object regardless of the orientation in which the picking up object is placed. <P>SOLUTION: The picking up system includes a closed area extraction means 13 for extracting a closed area from an input image, a singular point acquiring means 14 for acquiring a singular point in the closed area from the input image, a parameter deriving means 15 for deriving an equidistance pixel intensity parameter around the singular point by calculating inclusion rates of respective pixels existing at the same distance from the singular point in the closed area, a template storage means 16 for storing template data of an equidistance pixel intensity parameter preliminarily derived with respect to the picking up object, and an identification means 17 for identifying the picking up object by collating the derived equidistance pixel intensity parameter and the template data stored in the template storage means 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
