Provided are a method, apparatus and system for realizing media object display. The method comprises: acquiring media objects obtained through collection; determining a display object satisfying a pre-set condition from the media objects, and acquiring collection position information corresponding to the display object; and invoking gap data, and according to the collection position of the display object, displaying the display object on a map.
