PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device capable of reducing wiping time.SOLUTION: A cap unit 50 having a cap 51 and a wiping blade 52 of a recording head 22 of a printer is movable in a sheet conveying direction by a horizontal drive mechanism. The cap unit 50 is movable by the horizontal drive mechanism along the sheet conveying direction to a detaching position of the cap 51 for the recording head 22 and to a retract position provided between the recording heads 22. By moving the cap unit 50 in the sheet conveying direction, the wiping blade 52 wipes an ink discharge surface of the recording head 22 while moving in the sheet conveying direction. |
