Disclosed is a method for grinding a circular chute with variable radial profile, according to which rotation around own axis is imparted to a part, feed is imparted to a grinding wheel with a profile in the form of a circular arc for cutting in radial direction matched with rotation of the part and is discretely rotated around the axis passing through the center of the profile arc of the chute in each axial section and perpendicularly thereto, and the tool is inclined around the line passing through the bottom of the tape and its axis of rotation, during removing the allowance and shaping, the wheel is displaced in the plane perpendicular to the axial section so that the line connecting the center of curvature of the bottom of chute tape and center of the wheel passes through the point of contact at the bottom of tape, they shall be located in the same horizontal plane passing through the axis of rotation of the part. The tape feed for is chosen depending on the required surface roughness in each axial section. |
