PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To help maintenance of isochronous communication even when peripheral equipment performing isochronous communication, such as a USB device, is connected. SOLUTION: In a data communication system, when a peripheral equipment server driver 404 transmits an IRP to a peripheral equipment server 306, the server driver 404 creates a dummy response irrespective of reception of response communication after a prescribed time has passed after transmission and transmits it to a peripheral equipment driver 402. When receiving such a response, the peripheral equipment driver 402 transmits a new IRP. Thus, isochronous communication can be maintained with respect to a delay caused by network communication between the peripheral equipment server driver 404 and the peripheral equipment server 306.
