PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated paper for printing improving interply strength of paper and having excellent blister resistance. SOLUTION: The coated paper for printing has coating layers on one or both sides of base paper produced from a pulp raw material obtained from a lignocellulose material. In the coated paper for printing, the base paper is base paper composed of pulp in which≥50 mass% of the pulp raw material is treated in a treating step with an inorganic peroxy acid and/or a salt thereof before and/or after a bleaching treating step and further beaten.
