A method for remote transmission of data in which additional image data of the complete image is transmitted for a section relevant to the monitoring activity and up-dated image data of the at least one section is transmitted more frequently or in shorter time intervals than the image data of the total image and the section of the total image is replaced by the up-dated image data.
