The present invention provides a technology capable of easily monitoring comprehensive quality of convergence content provided by receiving and converging broadcast standards broadcasted through heterogeneous networks depending on a receiving condition. According to one embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for monitoring convergence broadcast through a portable terminal comprises: a data receiving unit including a plurality of receiving modules provided to receive standard broadcast signal data or digital data through at least two heterogeneous networks or an incoming network of standard broadcast signal data; a data identification unit connected to the data receiving unit to identify type of the standard broadcast signal data or the digital data corresponding to each receiving module among the plurality of receiving modules included in the data receiving unit; a broadcast content generation unit converging at least one standard broadcast signal data or the digital data identified through the data identification unit and received through at least one receiving module, so as to generate convergence content combined with broadcast-related content included in the standard broadcast signal data or the digital data, and controlling the convergence content such that the convergence content is outputted through an output unit of a user terminal; and a monitoring unit receiving the standard broadcast signal data or the digital data and notification information about a data receiving situation of each receiving module, receiving information about the type of each data from the data identification unit, receiving the convergence content generated by the broadcast content generation unit, and performing monitoring about the quality of the convergence content by using the received information. |
