PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal and an electric connector which can improve contact reliability by reliably sliding a mating terminal.SOLUTION: A short-circuit terminal 120 is arranged inside an inner housing 110 of a first electric connector. The short-circuit terminal 120 comprises: a first short-circuit terminal 140 which comes into contact with a first detection terminal 221; and a second short-circuit terminal 150 which comes into contact with a second detection terminal 222. A first elastic part of the first short-circuit terminal 140 interlocks with the bending of a lock arm. A first contact part 141 continuous with the first elastic part has an inclined face 141a which returns to its original position after the lock arm is bent and comes into contact with the surface of the first detection terminal 221 when the first elastic part is restored.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18 |
