Disclosed is a windscreen wiper device for large curved windscreens, which comprises first and second arms (2, 4) connected to each other in an articulated manner at a distal end (8) by a main spacer (10) and reciprocatingly operable. The device further comprises a windshield wiper blade (12) rockingly mounted relative to said main spacer (10) by rocking means (14). and a secondary spacer (22) mounted on the distal end (8) in redundancy with said main spacer (10). The rocking means (14) comprise a first toothed member (16) integral with said secondary spacer (22) and a second toothed member (18) integral with said wiper blade (12), which are mounted meshed with one another to cause the rocking of said wiper blade (12) about the longitudinal axis (48) thereof in the rocking direction opposite to the direction of reciprocating movement of said first and second arms (2, 4). |
