<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, image processing method, and image display apparatus that effectively improves image quality and alleviates users' fatigue. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus of the present invention includes: an image signal processing part 12 that performs signal processing on an left eye image signal L and a right eye image signal R which are for providing a stereoscopic image; and a viewer information input part 17 that receives an input of viewer information on a difference in vision between the left and right eyes of a viewer of a stereoscopic image.
