A coupling structure for a mobile phone and a method thereof are provided to improve optical characteristics, reduce a manufacturing cost, and manufacture a slim mobile phone by applying resin as a bonding unit to couple an LCD module with a display window, instead of double-faced tape. A coupling structure for a mobile phone(105) comprises a lower case(160), a backlight unit(130), a liquid crystal panel(145), an upper polarizing plate(170), a lower polarizing plate(171), a bonding unit, a display window(190), and an upper case(180). The backlight unit is arranged on the lower case. The liquid crystal panel is arranged on the backlight unit. The upper and lower polarizing plates respectively are installed at both external sides of the liquid crystal panel. The bonding unit, formed at the front side of the upper polarizing plate, has optical characteristics. The display window is bonded with the upper polarizing plate through the bonding unit. The upper case covers the edge of the display window.
