PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a viewable channel efficiently.SOLUTION: A portable electronic apparatus 10 includes a tuner 14, a storage unit 15, and a control unit 16. The tuner 14 receives broadcast radio waves. The storage unit 15 stores the results of scanning of a physical channel by using the tuner 14. When scanning the physical channel used for broadcasting in an area corresponding to the current place, the control unit 16 omits scanning of the physical channel of which previous scanning was successful, based on the scanning results. |
