摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape calibration method for enabling a user to exactly perceive surface relief on CAD data.SOLUTION: A neural network 60 is learned by a tactile display 1 by using shape data H2', L2' corresponding to the presented shape W', and shape data H2, L2 corresponding to the image shape W2 when a tactile sense in which the image shape W2 matches to the perceived shape W1 as learning data, the shape data H, L corresponding to the surface relief on CAD data are input in the learned neural network 60, the shape data H', L' corresponding to the presented shape W' of the tactile display 1 calibrated so that the surface relief W on the CAD data matches to the perceived shape W1 are output from the learned neural network 60, and stimulators 21-29 are operated according to the shape data H', L' corresponding to the presented shape W' of the calibrated tactile display 1.
